Our family has been working with organic food for many years, beginning in 2008 with our first café, The Sprout & The Bean in Geelong.

Today at Sonny, three generations of our family, from teenagers to elders, work together in the business. We’ve grown from a café into a full lifestyle store, offering not only nourishing food but also books, clothing, personal care, ritual tools and homewares.

Food, the environment and the ethics of food production have always been at the heart of what we do. As we’ve grown, our offering has expanded to reflect our passions, life experiences, and values.

Shaun’s path has included many years as a wholefood chef, as well as becoming a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner, yoga teacher and meditation guide. Amy brings deep wisdom from her work as a Steiner educator, with a strong connection to anthroposophy and biodynamic farming.

Above all, we are parents, friends and seekers — and we offer this space to you with an open heart.
